Mr. Dale Cobb has a background in software engineering and product development. He spent over 20 years as a director and later regional board member of an international children's program. Mr. Cobb has worked at the prestigious Grandmaster H.K. Lee Academy of TaeKwonDo since 2005. He and the Eureka STEM Team have recently completed a Pinewood Derby track with an electronic starter/finish line. Last Spring semester in making weather stations and monitoring weather while simultaneously assembling and studying Wind Generator and Solar Technology.
Using our Nexstar Celestron Telescope to view planets and the moon. Lessons on navigation using the Sun and Stars, and building a 6-foot solid-fuel rocket as a group project with smaller rockets as individual projects.
January thru Mid-March (10 weeks) Monday or Thursday (pick one), 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm as little as $12 per week.
With Spring comes the reemergence of plants, hence our theme. We will be growing organic, hydroponic plants. Our mission is to start our seedlings, assemble the hydroponic station and grow our plants. While waiting for the plants to grow, we will study plants, including the creation of a rainbow rose. Come join the fun as we explore this amazing place we live in!
